The Two Senior Officers Moments Prior to the Attacker Got Stunned

A ranking policeman who rushed to the help of a fellow officer who was ambushed by a blade-wielder has been awarded the Royal Recognition for Valor.

Sergeant Tim Ansell fought with twenty-seven-year-old Jacob Brown subsequent to he placed a weapon to the throat of his colleague Sergeant Marc Foster.

Brown launched his attack as the law enforcement personnel and their colleague, Police Constable Marcus Wolstencroft, were conversing to a driver following a vehicle incident in that location in mid-2023.

Brown attacked with blade the two Sergeant Ansell and Sergeant Foster before PC Wolstencroft stunned him with a stun gun.

The department stated Sergeant Foster employed his hands to control his colleague's bleeding before medical personnel came.

This most recent award arrives subsequent to the three officers were granted organizational Valor Recognitions in late 2023 and the police federation award from the regional officer association in early 2024.

They were also awarded a Regional Bravery Award in July 2024.

"The responses of the entire team ultimately protected each other and meant no civilians endured any wounds."

Brown was sentenced to an secure medical confinement in April 2024, as stated by officials.
